| The 4th grade at Davis Creek Elementary was introduced to our LEGO
Program using these sets made up of the same pieces.
Students sat back to back, with each having the same set of LEGO pieces. Student #1 described what piece they were using to build a model. Student #2 had to comply without asking any questions. Play continues until all pieces are used. Partners then observe the models and compare for similarities and differences. In the second game, both students are allowed to talk, alternating descriptions of placing LEGO pieces. Again, partner compare and contrast their models. It was the consensus of the group that allowing both sides to talk increased the probability that the models would match exactly. |

These partners had a little problem communicating, didn't they? How should they fix the problem? |
