May 16, 2000 the 5th grade class at Davis
Creek Elementary moved their DC LEGO Amusement Park 2000 rides to the gymnasium
to setup, display, and demonstrate to the students in the school as well
as community members and teachers who came to admire the students' creations.
The park rides were set out in a logical order so that one ride would lead
to another. To aid in locating the various rides a gate was made
with a map of the park and walkways to mark the paths. Each student
demonstrated their rides and everyone was amazed and excited as they watched
the park come to life.
