Music - Mrs. Romine

  • Our fifth grade will visit the Keith-Albee in Huntington on March 10 to attend a concert presented by the Huntington Community Orchestra. The Keith-Albee was opened in 1928 to feature Vaudeville Acts. It has a very unique history and at one time had 3000 seats for the audience as well as a stage modeled after the Roxy in New York, an orchestra pit, and a three manual Wurtilzer organ. The original gold leaf relief can still be seen in the elaborate, detailed decorations of the walls and ceiling. The concert is given free of charge to all fifth grade students in Cabell County.
  • Due to transportation difficulties our March 10 concert was canceled. We were disappointed.

Physical Education - Mr. Hetzer
