"No Limits" Playground 4 All
The picture on the right shows the entire playground before the tram enclosed it.
With the  sun shining on the playground, who wouldn't like to enjoy the activities of this park?
This area has a giant caterpillar that can be gently ridden by children.  The access path allows for wheelchairs to gain entry.
The tower at the entrance to the playground stands tall and has glowing decor for easy identification from anywhere in the playground.
This picture shows the tower entrance area and the laser tag, virtual snowboarding area, and the video games that must be entered to play.  All areas of this display are accessibile by all mobilities.
The handicapped accessible vehicle is available at all times for touring the playground, or assisting people who need help.

There are also other machines availabe to help set activities to the correct level, or lift children's wheelchairs to the correct level for access and participation.
The connecting tubing allows children to walk easily from one activity to another, while providing cover for wheelchairs.
The lake, garden, hiking area, and water activities have something for everyone.  There are even animals from wet environments to handle and explore.
The DC 5th grade students watch as their playground is being readied for a guided tour by another team.
This picture shows the entire DC "No Limits" playground area with surrounding tram for easy access to all areas and activities.
This picture shows the labeled parts of the entrance, playground plans, and students watching.
The video arcade allows children of all mobilities access on the same level.
We wish this idea for a borderless playground could be a reality.  However, we hope you have enjoyed your tour of our DC "No Limits" Playground.
