Davis Creek Elementary fifth grade class also has a set of identical twins who worked together to finish the mirrors.
Above Mrs. Wagner, our school principal, and Mrs. Hamilton, math instructor at Marshall University, take their turns at grinding and polishing a mirror.
These students worked for several days grinding and polishing our mirror and finishing the mirrors of the fourth grade classes.  Due to their dedication, hard work, and some frantic after school work, all our mirrors were polished and sent on their way to become part of StarShine III.
This is a photograph of the first StarShine satellite that orbited Earth for about eight months.  StarShine II will be about the same size, while StarShine III will be much larger and will orbit at a higher altitude and will orbit for several years.
