CMHS Eagles' Nest
Promotes Healthy Living At
Davis Creek Elementary![]()
Welcome Ms. Tooth!
Cabell Midland High School's Eagles' Nest Program visits Davis Creek Elementary each Thursday to present a lesson. The lessons are well planned and delivered by dedicated high school students that want to make a difference in the lives and futures of fourth and fifth grade students. Ms. Dixie Billheimer and Mr. John Hogg spend time in and out of class getting information, resources, financial support, and attending wrokshops so that the CMHS students have a large variety of lesson preparation material to use. Without this dedication from the two teachers Eagles' Nest would not be the wonderful, fulfilling program that we see each Thursday. The Eagles' Nest lessons range from "Just Say No" messages concerning drug use, study habits, friendship, team cooperation, responsibility, "Say No To Smoking", volunteerism, to "Healthy Living". Each lesson is eagerly awaited by the Davis Creek Elementary fifth grade class in Mrs. Simon's classroom.

Opinions and informtion delivered is given high priority by these ten year old students. Today there is a "surprise" guest.
