LEGO Balloon Cars

 
On May 22, 2000 the fifth grade class made balloon cars.  The car part was made with the new LEGO elements that are pictured below.  The balloons were attached to the cars and held until they were launched.  The students experimented with the cars and balloons to try to make a car that would travel very far.
