Students had to figure out how far the grabber would go forward per second, then program with ROBOLAB to pick up the load and return it to the beginning spot.

The grabber goes farther backwards in one second then it does forward.  Students had to compensate for the difference. The resulting looping program was successful in completing its task of picking up a load and returning to the beginning spot, as well as repeating the program successfully. 

The students worked well together to figure out the programming for the LEGO Grabber.  The robot needed to pick up a load, move it, and return to the beginning spot.  They measured, planned, remeasured, programmed, tested, and reprogrammed to perfect the robot's commands.
This student group worked very well together and were successful in programming the LEGO Grabber to complete its task.
