The Story of LEGO Misadventure
Rescue!

     I have finally found it within myself to venture away from the island and try to make it home.  I am going to use the things I have learned in this adventure.  My rescue device is a raft. 

     I made the raft from pieces I salvaged from the beach.  After the ship wreck, I brought as much on shore as I could.  I used pieces of the ship, trees, grasses, and some sticky resin to build my raft.  I made it as large as I could so that I can take along supplies, food, water, and even some mememtos of this adventure.  I don't know how long I will be out wandering the ocean.  Hopefully, someone will rescue me when I encounter a passing ship, or I will come upon civilization.  I can't wait to get home, but I wouldn't have missed this adventure for anything.

The fifth grade students at Davis Creek Elementary used the LEGO Simple Motorized Machine Set to build their models for the Miss Adventure challenge.  The students also used LEGOCAD, an older software product from LEGO, to build their models virtually on the computer.
