LEGO Miss Adventure Projects consists of seven challenges to plan and build ways to survive a ship wreck near a tropical island.  Each student group must complete a journal and a LEGOCAD rendering of their model.  The seven challenges are: #1:  Salvage, #2:  Shelter, #3:  Water, #4:  Food, #5:  Signal, #6:  Transportation, #7: Rescue Students are also encouraged to draw a picture of their model and explain how it accomplishes the goals set,
and how it aids the ship wrecked islanders to survive until they are rescued.
Bethany and Mary are the duo to work toward a solution for a signalling device.  They decide to build a tower with SOS at the top.  The SOS sign is attached to a motor which provides the power for it to rotate, which should draw more attention to it.  The appeal will hopefully be met by a passing ship, airplane, or other visitor to the island.
