LEGO Miss
Adventure Projects consists of seven challenges to plan and build ways
to survive a ship wreck near a tropical
island. Each student group must complete a journal and a LEGOCAD
rendering of their model. The seven challenges are: #1:
Salvage,
#2: Shelter, #3: Water, #4: Food, #5: Signal,
#6:
Transportation, #7: Rescue. Students are also encouraged to
draw a picture of their model and explain how it accomplishes the goals
set, and how it aids the ship wrecked islanders to survive until they
are
rescued. This vehicle can travel over many different,
varied terrains and can also convert to float on the water, if needed.
Cole and Justin work to plan, build, and
then
virtually build their transportation model. They use LEGOCAD to
make
their model on the computer.
