LEGO Miss Adventure Projects consists of seven challenges to plan and build ways to survive a ship wreck near a tropical island.  Each student group must complete a journal and a LEGOCAD rendering of their model.  The seven challenges are: #1:  Salvage, #2:  Shelter, #3:  Water, #4:  Food, #5:  Signal, #6:  Transportation, #7:  Rescue.  Students are also encouraged to draw a picture of their model and explain how it accomplishes the goals set, and how it aids the ship wrecked islanders to survive until they are rescued.
Jonathan and Zac work to solve the challenging problem of providing immediate and constant water supply for the island community.  While this may at first seem easy since they are surrounded by an ocean, drinkable fresh water is a requirement for life, and that sort of water is not easily obtainable.  They must be able to find water, build a way to get to it, plan to obtain it, transport it, and store it safely for use.
