This adventure is turning out to be more work that I ever dreamed.
First, the shipwreck. Then gathering supplies, getting to the island, and
building a shelter. Now finding water.
After drawing our idea on paper for the well, we built it using selected
LEGO elements. The ladder was the hardest to build. Putting pieces
on the backside of upright beams proved to be a very difficult maneuver.
We also had some people to "crank up" the bucket to show that it
was truly a working model.
