Davis Creek Elementary Ghost Ride

The LEGO Ghost Ride was used once again this fall to graph the results.  The graph, visible in the picture below, looks like a spider.  This LEGO Ghost Ride has been very popular with the fifth grade students this year.

Ghost Ride was built and programmed by two groups of students.  After the program in RoboLab Programmer was worked through,  it was tried out in the dark and under bright lights.  Since it did not work in bright lights we decided to graph the light sensor readings in RoboLab Investigator.

At this point we did actually set up the last part of the program to run by time only to take care of the problem arising with the sensor not going below 35.  However the graph shape was so interesting that we decided to take pictures of our "spider" graph with our skeleton.
