Davis Creek Elementary 5th grade students
explored our new Marscape by driving the robot around its new home.
Mr. Brown, one of our Davis Creek parents, built the Marscape. The
box features plexiglass on the bottom so that the Connectix cam can "see"
the visitors underneath. It can also see the classroom. The
Marscape is suspended from beams above the computer which runs the software.
We can allow other sites to drive our robot and "see" us. We can
communicate by typing messages back and forth. We look forward to
many more journeys into the unknown territory of "space" as we continue
to explore.
