Davis Creek Elementary
Completes "Simon City"


On November 21, 2000 the Davis Creek Elementary fifth grade class built "Simon City".  The day before the construction plans were made to develop the city in a logical way.  Each group was responsible for a place to live, a place to work, and a way to get back and forth.  It was also decided to have each group of three build sections of the city and everyone work together on the railroad system that would surround the city.

The railroad system surrounds the city so that ready transportation is available for everyone. Multi-colored signs show various businesses. Mansions, lakes, shopping areas, and groceries mark a well planned city. Getting ready for visitors to "Simon City". Grocery store and McDonald's Three Amigos Farm and Mansion Visitors admire the city. Quick fixing up as visitors come in. Close view of Space Station and lake.
