Mrs. Wagoner's 2nd Grade Class Holding "Thunder Cake"
Mrs. Wagoner's 2nd grade class celebrated their story "Thunder Cake" by Patrica Polacco by mixing and baking their own dessert to enjoy. The story is part of the Treasures of Literature reading program. The story is about a child who is very afraid of thunder. Her grandmother helps her overcome her fear by enlisting her help in the preparation of "Thunder Cake". The story concludes with grandmother's very own recipe for "Thunder Cake".
