On November 11, 1999 Davis Creek Elementary welcomed several Veterans' of War to our school.  These former soldiers told of their service for their country in proud stories that bespoke of honor, hardship, and determination to make America the free nation we enjoy today.  Without these valiant defenders our country may not have been free to develop and grow into the strong nation that is their legacy to all of us.  Veterans, we salute you for your honor, integrity, service, loyalty, valour, and your legacy of a free, strong country to the future citizens of America.
