FIRST LEGO League Challenge 2002 @ WVSTA
On Saturday, October 19, 2002 the Davis Creek Elementary and Barboursville Middle School
FIRST LEGO League demonstrated the 2002 "City Sights" Challenge at the West Virginia
Science Teachers' Association conference at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, West Virginia.
We were honored to have Dr. Jack Horner, paleotologist from Montana, to visit with us to see
our demonstration.  We were also honored to have several interested teachers, parents, and
fellow LEGO Mindstorms enthusiasts attend.  Mr. Summers, a parent from B'ville Middle School, also took pictures of the demonstration.  Click here to view.
A 'bot is shown here collecting the food loops and pushing rocks from the soccer field.

Parents brought the students to participate in the event, eventhough they had to be there at 8:00AM sharp on a Saturday!
