Davis Creek Elementary 5th grade displayed
their LEGO "Christmas Factory" to the other
classrooms on January 3, 2001. Working as three person teams they
read the description, explained the original design and the revisions,
and followed a Christmas package through its route from beginning where
the crane lifts the package onto the conveyor belt to the finished bin.
Each student built part of the factory and then worked together to link
the separate machines to work as a complete unit. The 5th grade had
also worked together as a class to write the description featured on the
Christmas
Factory web page.
